First, we introduce a definition of what an input device
Input devices are devices that allow the input of data to a computer by a user. One example in a mouse: The user moves the mouse and as the mouse moves, the computer receives the information, which causes the pointer on the screen to move.
The first is the Microsoft Smart Home which is a little cheesy but is (unintentionally) funny in parts
The second is Microsoft's Concept - Future vision 2020 which is a bit more polished and up to date
We can now review all the different input devices spotted in the movie.
The next task is to hand out the table (on the right) and also the device card (one device per group of students). For more advanced students and for differentiation, you can give more than one device to those groups (or give them pointing devices which has at least 3 different sub types!)
The students research their device(s) and then complete the table for their device(s) to show:
Students then exchange information with each other to complete the table with information from the other students.
